Come work for us

  May 8, 2018    Claire

Heritage and Business Manager

Harvey’s Foundry Trust is a grassroots community organisation based in Hayle in Cornwall that has for 30 years been protecting and promoting Hayle’s heritage.

For the past ten years we have undertaken an ambitious regeneration scheme that has seen us successfully bid for more than £10 million of public funding, transforming a derelict listed foundry site into a vibrant centre. This scheme has seen us win numerous awards and we are held as an exemplar project by The Princes Regeneration Trust in how to use historic buildings in effective regeneration.

We have just completed our third phase of the scheme, a £4 million HLF funded enterprise grant scheme which has enabled the Trust to expand our assets and heritage offer and we are now looking for a dedicated and energetic heritage and business manager to build on that success.

You will need to have experience of working in the heritage/charitable sector and have experience of developing business strategies and funding packages. We are looking to increase our visibility so you will need to be a fantastic communicator with a creative mind.

You will report to the Trust board and be responsible for a small team of staff plus the Heritage Centre volunteers so you need to have great interpersonal skills and be a fantastic motivator and manager.

This a permanent role. You will be based at our Heritage Centre in Hayle. Salary is £30,000- £33,000 per annum based on experience.

Please contact Claire Sheppard for a job pack either by calling 01736 757683 or emailing on claire@harveysfoundrytrust.org.uk, more information on the Trust and Heritage Centre can be found on hayleheritagecentre.org.uk and harveysfoundrytrust.org.uk.
