October 7 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pmFREE
Hayle Heritage Centre is taking part in a nationwide event turning our Centre into a Fun Palace, a FREE celebration of arts and culture.
Our Fun Palace will focus on Hayle’s landscape and history. We are partnering with the RSPB who will be giving talks about birds in the local reserve and showing people how to make bird feeders, bird-themed wrist snap-bands and feather fingers. Surfers Against Sewage will also be here with lots of information about ocean pollution and how you can help; linked to this will be a drop-in sea creature craft workshop for all ages. Continuing with this theme, there will also be a recycling workshop, turning waste material into jewellery.
A Cornish Bard will be here too, telling tall tales and giving a crash course in the Cornish language!
Join us for a day of fun and learning this autumn. For more information please see our Fun Palace webpage
